DreamFast Apps

Privacy Policy

How DreamFast Apps handles your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how DreamFast Themes (which operates DreamFast Apps) handles information in connection with the DreamFast Apps website at dreamfastapps.com and our Windows desktop software.

1. Who operates this site

DreamFast Apps is operated by DreamFast Themes. You can contact us at hello@dreamfast-themes.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message.
  • Purchase and billing information. When paid checkout is available, purchases are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes the billing and payment information needed to complete your purchase and to handle tax, fraud prevention, and transaction records. We receive limited order information (such as the product purchased and a transaction reference), not your full payment card details.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our web server and hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and reliable operation.
  • License activation data. Where an app uses license activation, we may process the information needed to validate and manage your license. This applies only to apps that use activation.

3. Information we do not collect

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not currently run advertising networks or third-party marketing trackers on this website. Several DreamFast apps are designed to run locally on your PC; for those apps, the files you work on are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us as part of normal use.

4. How we use information

We use information to respond to your enquiries and provide support; to operate, secure, and improve the website; to process and deliver purchases (via Paddle) and manage licenses; and to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

5. Why we process information

We process information where it is necessary to provide what you ask for (such as answering your email or fulfilling a purchase), to operate and secure our website, and to meet legal or accounting obligations. Where your consent is required for a specific activity, we rely on your consent.

6. Payments and Paddle

Purchases are processed by Paddle acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle independently determines and processes the payment, billing, tax, and fraud-prevention data needed to complete transactions and is responsible for that processing. Please see Paddle’s privacy policy for details.

7. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the website, including web hosting, email delivery and handling for messages, and website security and caching tools. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service. Our website fonts are served from our own server, so loading this site does not send your IP address to a third-party font provider.

8. Cookies

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. WordPress and our security or caching tools may set strictly necessary cookies in limited situations (for example, if you log in to an account). Because we do not set non-essential cookies, we do not currently operate a cookie consent banner.

9. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required for legal, tax, or accounting reasons. Support emails are kept as long as needed to assist you and for our records.

10. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International processing

Our providers (including Paddle and our hosting and font providers) may process information in countries other than yours. Where that happens, the information remains subject to protections consistent with this policy.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to or restrict certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at hello@dreamfast-themes.com. For payment and billing data processed by Paddle, you may also contact Paddle.

13. Children’s privacy

Our website and software are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will address it.

14. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites (such as Paddle or DreamFast Themes). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their own policies.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is posted here with the “Last updated” date below.
