Accessibility
How we make the DreamFast Apps website usable for everyone, and how to report a barrier.
DreamFast Themes wants everyone to be able to use the DreamFast Apps website at dreamfastapps.com. We build the site to be usable with a keyboard, with assistive technologies such as screen readers, and at a range of screen sizes and zoom levels.
Target standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is a goal we work towards continuously; it is not a claim of certification, and we do not describe the site as fully compliant or as having been formally audited by a third party.
Measures we have taken
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, and footer) with a visible “Skip to content” link.
- A single clear main heading per page and a logical heading structure.
- Keyboard access to every interactive control, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- The screenshot viewer is a native dialog that traps focus, closes with Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it.
- Text and interface colours checked for contrast, and colour is not used as the only way to convey meaning.
- Meaningful images have descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Icon-only buttons have text labels for assistive technology.
- The layout reflows without loss of content down to small screens and up to 400% zoom, and honours the “reduce motion” system setting.
- Self-hosted fonts and real HTML text rather than images of text.
Known limitations
We are honest about where we are still improving:
- The product illustrations on the homepage and app pages are decorative, code-drawn mockups of app interfaces. They are hidden from assistive technology, and some of their small captions have lower contrast than body text. The real information they depict is always provided as accessible text nearby.
- The site is new and testing is ongoing. Some issues may not yet have been identified, and no formal independent accessibility audit has been carried out.
Tell us about a problem
If you run into an accessibility barrier on this website, please email us at hello@dreamfast-themes.com. To help us reproduce and fix the issue quickly, please include:
- The page address (URL) where you found the problem.
- A short description of the barrier and what you were trying to do.
- The browser and operating system you were using, and any assistive technology (for example, a screen reader) and its version.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports promptly and to fix confirmed issues as quickly as we reasonably can.
